Social Media and Digital Design Portfolio

For Skye The Limit Clean, a small business specializing in home and office cleaning services, I managed social media marketing in Tasmania, along with content creation and scheduling. My role involved developing engaging posts and visual content that aligned with effective branding and web design principles, ensuring a consistent online presence that reflected the business’s friendly and reliable identity. Although the business has since changed hands or is no longer operating, my contributions to Skye The Limit Clean exemplify how I assist small businesses in enhancing their visibility, connecting with their audience, and professionally showcasing their services across digital design projects on social platforms.

Kombi Keg was a beautifully restored 1976 Volkswagen Kombi Van, transformed into a fully mobile bar featuring a six-tap keg system and a pop-up TV integrated into the roof. This iconic blue Kombi added a unique, vintage charm to any venue, making it perfect for weddings, parties, corporate events, and celebrations throughout Tasmania. The van provided a range of options on tap, including alcoholic choices like beer, wine, and cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic selections such as kombucha, cold brew coffee, mocktails, lemonade, and iced tea. With flexible hire packages available, ranging from four hours to full-weekend bookings, Kombi Keg catered to various events. I was responsible for the promotional and event photography to enhance their branding and web design, capturing the Kombi’s character, the vibrant atmosphere at events, and the unique details that made it a standout mobile bar experience. My work supported their social media marketing in Tasmania by showcasing the van’s aesthetic appeal, versatility, and the fun, memorable moments it created for clients, contributing to several successful digital design projects.

I collaborated with a local political representative, focusing on a blend of professional content editing, candid photography, and event coverage within branding and web design. My responsibilities involved:  

  Refining and editing content for their professional political party website, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and a polished public presentation that supports their overall digital design projects.  

  Creating authentic yet professional photography for their social media channels, capturing candid moments that resonate with their public image and enhance their social media marketing Tasmania efforts.  

  Attending press meetings and community events to deliver high-quality event photography for use across various digital platforms.  

Although this client has since shifted parties, my work stands as a strong testament to my capability in aiding public-facing professionals with reliable content editing, visual storytelling, and social media-ready imagery.

Mint Green Clean was a home and commercial cleaning service that delivered reliable, high-quality cleaning solutions for households and workplaces. I was employed to provide social media marketing in Tasmania, alongside content creation and management, ensuring the business maintained a consistent and professional online presence. One of the key digital design projects I contributed to was a 20% Brand Awareness Lift Campaign aimed at increasing visibility, strengthening branding, and fostering trust with local audiences. This involved developing engaging posts, creating branded visual content, and managing a structured posting strategy across their social platforms. Although the original business has since shut down and now operates under a similar name, my work with Mint Green Clean remains a strong example of how I support small businesses with strategic content, web design, brand visibility, and effective social media management.

AgFest is one of Tasmania’s largest annual agricultural events, and in 2018, I was selected as part of a small media team supporting the official AgFest Instagram. Each year, four students and a tutor from the Bachelor of Media program attend the festival to provide real-time digital content and effective coverage using social media marketing in Tasmania. My role focused on live event photography, content creation, and enhancing the branding and web design aesthetic of our posts. This included: 

Capturing high-quality images of event sponsors, exhibitors, and branded activations that showcased various digital design projects. 

Photographing everyday scenes and activities across the festival—crowds, demonstrations, workshops, machinery displays, and community interactions. 

Uploading images directly to the official AgFest Instagram with accurate sponsor information, proper tagging, and event-specific hashtags. 

Ensuring all content aligned with AgFest’s professional tone and visual identity. 

This experience strengthened my ability to work in fast-paced environments, deliver same-day content, and visually document large-scale events with consistency and accuracy.
